Central Axis is a solo exhibition at Spazio Spuma, Venice, that brings together a group of sculptural works shaped by reflection and by their relation to one another. Conceived as a spatial ensemble open to reconfiguration, the exhibition explores how meaning is produced through relation to the environment.

Reflective surfaces incorporate both their surroundings and the image of the individual, establishing a continuous exchange between subject and space, and deepening the concepts of agency and interconnectedness.

Just as soil and water are necessary elements to activate a seed, movement and light are necessary elements to activate and understand these pieces. Through this interplay, the exhibition considers how form emerges through relation, reflection, light, and movement, and how perception is shaped by the conditions in which it appears.

Midway through the exhibition period, the reflective sculptures originally presented as autonomous pieces on individual pedestals in the room 2, are deliberately reconfigured onto a single shared platform, altering their relationship with space and the viewer, but also activating a new field of composition, and pursuit of collective balance.
