Pressure Field is a photographic series printed with pigments on Hahnemühle 315 g/m². The series is the result of an experimental performative process in which Rodrigo investigates how water reorganises under competing forces. A shallow basin is driven by modulation that generates short-lived formations on the surface, captured in real time and through isolated photographic stills.

The piece examines the conditions that allow these formations to arise and vanish, focusing on the thresholds where different impulses meet. The photographic series isolates the flow into singular frames, holding moments in which the surface temporarily stabilises into a recognisable configuration before dissolving again. The activation combines shifting frequencies and mechanically mediated physical intervention, pushing the surface into continual reshaping.
